The internationally recognized, and highly rated American Airpower Museum WWII C-47 D-Day Living History Flight Experience takes to the air for the last time for the 2026 Season on Saturday October 10th!

Our immersive living history flight experience program lasts approximately 2.0 hours including your 20–25-minute flight in the Legendary WWII Douglas C-47 “Skytrain”. Our dedicated living historians take you through a moving and memorable history lesson about the Airborne and Troop Carrier missions that began Operation Overlord better known as D-Day on the night of June 5th into the historic day of June 6th 1944. You will gear up and then take to the air as a paratrooper of the 101st Airborne and learn about what it was like aboard the C-47s that historic night of nights.
