It’s time for our flight experiences to transition into fall! Its a perfect time to take a scenic flight with us in the American Airpower Museum’s WWII Douglas C-47 “Skytrain” Troop Transport as the weather cools down and there is lots to see from the air including scenic Long Island foliage! Dont forget this is still a memorable flying living history experience where you take to the air on board an authentically configured WWII C-47 “Skytrian” inside and out as they were in 1944 when used to drop U.S Army, and British Airborne Paratroopers on their historic D-Day mission in June of 1944, as well that of Operation Market Garden in September of 1944. Our scenic flight program includes  your arrival/check-in, briefing, and a scenic flight around the local Long Island Beaches often including Jones Beach,Fire Island as well at getting to see the leaves change across Long Islands beautiful foliage both near and far!
