AT-6 “Texan” and Waco UPF-7 Flight Experience

September 19 @ 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Take a flight back in time in one of two Legends of American Airpower on Friday September 18th, or Saturday September 19th.

In the AT-6 “Texan” Flight experience you take the air in one of the Army Air Force, and then US Air Force’s legendary advance trainers known to those that flew it as the “Pilot Maker”. The last trainer before newly minted pilots would go on to fly famed aircraft such as the P-51 or bombers such as the B-17. The flight is approximately 15-20 min. in duration, and costs $425.  For more information head to our Flight Experience Tab for more info and links on how to book online.

In the WACO UPF-7 you take to the air for a true barnstorming experience of an open cockpit Bi-Plane! Although designed as a trainer it’s a fitting tribute to all the bi-planes of old from the barnstorming 1920s and 30’s. The Waco itself was actually used as a primary trainer for the US Army Air Force during WWII where fledgling pilots were introduced to flying for the first time. A fun experience to feel the wind in your face and hair! The flight is approximately 15-20 min. in duration, and costs $300. For more information head to our Flight Experience Tab for more info and links on how to book online.
