School Field Trips

The American Airpower Museum affords the Social Studies or History teachers the opportunity to introduce their students to the most significant events of the 20th Century. The America we know today is largely the result of the outcomes of WWI, WWII, Korea, and the Vietnam War. At the American Airpower Museum, students can learn about key events and people that helped to preserve our freedoms and democracy. History can be traced from the very hangar where fighter aircraft were built and sent into combat. The Museum honors the men and women who designed, built, and flew these incredible aircraft into harm’s way. Students get a sense of pride at what was accomplished here by relatives and neighbors.
