Photo, Film, & TV Work

Photo, Film, & TV Work

The American Airpower Museum, located at Republic airport, has been an in-demand location for film, television, and photo work since we opened over 20 years ago. The museum also has provided historic aircraft, vehicles, and props from our collection for major film and television productions, as well as photo shoots. Our historic vintage hangar is a unique shooting location on the airport that provides both backdrop, and staging locations for productions on the Republic Airport grounds. Our aircraft also provided unique aerial camera platforms for air-to-air film and photography. Our pilot’s and volunteers have become consummate professionals in support of the film and television industry and have also provided technical advising services for both aviation, and military projects. Republic airport is conveniently located close to the New York City Silver Cup, and Steiner studios, as well as Grumman Studios in Bethapage, LI.

Some of the productions that have recently featured the American Airpower Museum include: ABC’s Pan Am, NBC’s The Blacklist, CBS’s Madame Secretary, & Bull, Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs.Maisel to name a few.
