C-47 Flight Experience Rides honoring the 82nd Anniversary of D-Day
Join us Saturday June 6th, 2026 on the 82nd Anniversary of Operation Overlord better known as "D-Day" for a flight back in time aboard the legendary WWII C-47 "Skytrain" the plane that made history dropping the US 101st, 82nd Airborne, and the British Airborne into Normandy France on the eve of the invasion. On this historic anniversary you will take an approximately 15 min flight over Long Island's South Shore and experience the sights and sounds of of what it was like to fly, and ride aboard the C-47 during WWII as you sit in the very same seats that paratroopers once sat in over 80 years ago. The C-47 is a legend of Airpower from which combat airlift was born, and helped win WWII for the United States and its allies.
