Enjoy a historic flight experience in the American Airpower Museum’s Legendary WWII Douglas C-47 “Skytrain” Troop Transport. Our C-47 is still authentically configured inside and out as they were in 1944 when used to drop U.S Army, and British Airborne Paratroopers on their historic D-Day missions on June 5th, 1944 followed just months later once again for Operation Market Garden in September of 1944. This scenic ride program includes arrival, welcome and safety briefing, and a scenic flight around the Orange County Airport and surrounding countryside. The scenic flight experience is approximately 15-20 minutes in duration in the air. The whole program from check in to flight completion is approximately 1hr in duration.
